The Sunshine Committee is always looking for people to help make others’ lives a little brighter on dark days. We are interested in helping our Temple Emanuel family in four different areas:
1. Visits to the sick
2. Welcoming new babies
3. Shiva calls
4. Welcoming new families and members
Rabbi Cohen conducts classes for people who are interested in visiting the sick and/or making shiva calls. There are also opportunities for members to welcome new families and new babies into our community. Members who are interested in joining the committee or just participating in the activities of the “Sunshine Committee” should contact the committee chair or the Temple Office.
